retro_icontest Round 24: 8 by 2 Icon Variations

Here's my entry for Round 24 at retro_icontest :D The challenge involved using two screencaps in eight different ways, and I had a lot of fun getting creative with crops/textures/etc to keep all of them looking fresh~

5 - Desaturate	6 - Rotate	7 - Text Required	8 - Two-in-One

Both screencaps were taken from Double Face's Neblua MV, using the SCR color outfits from their TRIP album.

These are great! I love the really wide mix of different crops etc that you've managed - it genuinely doesn't look like it could be the same caps at a quick glance. And they're all really pretty too!

Thank you so much!!! When I saw the challenge, I thought it would be a good chance to play around with making as much unique icons as possible from just the two images, and it was a ton of fun to try. I'm glad it's noticeable to others :D

Wow, these are extraordinarily creative! I'm glad to hear you liked the difficulty of the challenge (I never really know how difficult a challenge is until I start making icons for it myself, and this one was a surprise to me :D) .

You did an amazing job making the icons look unique, and not like they were all made of the same caps at all. My faves are 2, 3, 6, and 7.

I thought it would be difficult but in a fun way, and it was quite difficult, but I enjoyed how much it made me think about what I was making. Thank you for picking such a fun challenge and for the compliments!!! :D

Oh wow, all of these are so unique! It's really neat to see them compared to the caps. 3 and 7 are my favs.
