these are amazing! i feel like such a noob for asking this, but do you make the images themselves, or just add textures and formats to other art? i've always wanted to know, because i feel like plagiarizing people if i even think about how a few blur and distort layers would affect an original art. man, if only i didn't have a conscience...like tk bakura...xD

sorry to bother you, just a curious photoshoper here (and not a very good one at that Dx)~

by the way, took 004 and 010 and will credit! amazing job here, i love helplesssad!bakura in 010!

Oh man no, I don't make the images themselves! I have no drawing talent whatsoever. I usually have a credit list of where all the art comes from, but I was lazy on this post ^^;;

All of them are full of textures and brushes from all over the place; I've been doing this for awhile. I have resources I found back in 2002 or earlier, soooo yeah...I have a LOT of textures. Though even those I edit and blur and twist to fit each individual icon. These things take a lot of thought and work XD

It's really not a bother though! I've picked up most of my knowledge through messing around in Photoshop & I love to share what I've learned, since that can be soooo helpful :D I've been meaning to make a tutorial at some point, I'm just lazy~

you just made me. the happiest person. on this side of the globe! i can't even draw a circle, but it's great to hear that i don't even have to in order to contribute to the community! now, i just got to update my PS Elements and spend hundreds of dollars on freaking awesome brushes! lovely, ne?

anyway, thanks for the help, and i will be stalking your amazing work from now on. :D

There are tons of free resources out there, actually. I don't pay for any of my brushes/textures/etc because tons of people make them for free :D I used to have a list of where I got a lot of mine somewhere...I'll see if I can hunt it down~

No problem! I'm glad I could help. And you asking me for help inspired me to go write an icon tutorial, so thanks for making me get off my lazy ass XD

anytime, my acquaintance~ you've helped me out very much, now i just need to take down all my crappy icons and start a graphics journal. lj confuzzles me, so this will be a grueling process. rawr~ but thanks for all the help!
